How to convert comments from Wipster.io into protools markers?

1. Export a CSV file from Wipster.io

To export comments from Wipster.io, select the video and open the menu via the download icon. Select "Export comments to csv" to export the comments.

2. Use the "Convertisseur de marqueurs" to convert the CSV file into a ptx marker file

Open the free Convertisseur de marqueurs, select "Wipster.io > Comments (.csv)" and set "convert" to "PTX". You can also set the Session Timecode Start, the Sample Rate and the Audio Pull Rate. Generate and download the file. If you have problems converting the file, you can contact the free support.

3. Import the ptx marker file into Avid ProTools

To import markers go to "File -> Import -> Session Data". Select the ptx file and make sure to check the "Ruler Markers" box in the Session Data panel before pressing OK. Your markers should now be imported into our ProTools Session.

4. Done
